Bangkok – Almaty 2012. SOS Childres Villages

It all started when the Semey – Astana biking tour in Kazakhstan, August 2011 came to an end.

Thousands of kilometers of the steppe roads were left behind, but images of the trip and its highlights were still alive in our memories. We wanted to start over again…

Two persons, Frank Tomlinson and Saule Kudaybergenova initiated the Bangkok – Almaty bike tour, aiming to raise awareness to eco-tourism in exotic and intriguing Asian countries.

We also cooperated with the Norwegian SOS Children’s Villages association SOS Barnebyer and especially the children’s village in Viet Tri. Norwegian info about Viet Tri can be found here.
